Summary: New psychoactive substances are an extremely important issue in modern addictology. Dependence on this group of substances develops faster than on drugs of plant origin, the mechanism of action of synthetic derivatives is unpredictable in clinical manifestations. The purpose of this article is to discuss the state of the problem.
